Saleiro Construction poured a new concrete pool deck and patio as part of our complete pool renovation in Fall 2019. The concrete was poured at very slight angles to allow water to run off, with a drain installed at the edge between the patio and pool deck. When the forms and gravel base for the pool deck and patio were brought in, I was surprised to see what looked like "post holes" dug every few feet along the edge. I didn't realize what those were for until they starting pouring the new deck, and I could see how they will provide more support and rigid structure for the new deck and patio. Great stuff! The crew did multiple finishing passes to assure a level surface, and the driver of the Bobcat was an artist - he made short work of not just leveling the inevitable ruts from moving tons of gravel and concrete, but also regrading the entire back yard. They cleaned up all the construction debris from the job. We also had Saleiro replace a 10' x 15' section of our garage floor that had been badly installed when the house was built 50 years ago. The rectangular hole was precisely cut, and the gravel base they installed was shaped to create a deeper, foundation border for the new section and also allow the new concrete to flow into the gap under the cut edge of the old floor, providing extra support. Outstanding work and thoughtful attention to structural / functional details.
